Recipe: Tuna Melt Sandwiches


  • ¾ cup chopped celery
  • ¾ cup diced cheddar cheese
  • 1 can of tuna (about 170g), drained
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • Dash of salt
  • ¼ cup butter, softened
  • 6 hamburger buns, split

1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

2. In a bowl, combine the celery, diced cheddar cheese, tuna flakes, onion, mayonnaise, and salt.

3. Spread the butter over the bottom cut sides of the hamburger buns and spread the tuna mixture on top, topping it off with the top of the hamburger bun.

4. Wrap the buns in foil.

5. Bake until the cheese is melted, about 15 minutes.
