Seafood Salad

Seafood salad is a refreshing and nutritious dish that combines a variety of seafood with fresh vegetables and a light dressing. This salad often includes ingredients like shrimp, crab, scallops, and squid, providing a rich source of protein and omega-3 fatty acids. The seafood is typically cooked and then chilled before being mixed with crisp vegetables such as lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, and bell peppers. Common additions also include olives, capers, and avocados for extra flavour and texture.

The dressing for seafood salad is usually light to complement the delicate flavours of the seafood. A popular choice is a lemon vinaigrette made with olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and herbs like dill or parsley. This adds a zesty, tangy element that enhances the overall taste. Seafood salad is versatile and can be served as an appetiser, a main course, or a side dish, making it a perfect option for any meal occasion.
