Recipe: Baked French Toast Sticks

Servings: 2-4

Ingredients:

  • 6 slices sandwich bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Method:

1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius and line a baking sheet with baking paper.

2. Cut each slice of bread into 4 sticks.

3. Place the eggs, mashed banana, vanilla and cinnamon into a blender and blend until smooth.

4. Dip the bread sticks into the batter and place onto the baking sheet.

5. Bake for 10 minutes, flip over, and continue baking for another 8-10 minutes. Enjoy warm with your preferred topping.
