Dim Sum and Vegetable Soup

Ingredients:
- 8 cups vegetable or chicken broth
- 1 cup mixed vegetables, thinly sliced
- 1 cup dumplings or dim sum
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon chili oil (optional, for spice)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions and cilantro for garnish

Method:
1. In a large pot, bring vegetable or chicken broth to a simmer over medium heat.
2. Add sliced mixed vegetables, minced ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar to the simmering broth. Stir well.
3. Carefully place the dumplings or dim sum into the pot. If using frozen dumplings, make sure they are evenly distributed.
4. Allow the soup to simmer until the dumplings are cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. If you prefer some heat, add chili oil.
6. Once everything is cooked, ladle the soup into bowls, ensuring an even distribution of vegetables and dumplings.
7. Garnish with chopped green onions and cilantro.
