Prawn Cocktail

Prawns, a delectable seafood delicacy, are cherished worldwide for their succulent, sweet flavour, and versatility in culinary applications. These crustaceans, closely related to shrimp, come in various sizes, from the tiny salad shrimp to the jumbo prawns that adorn gourmet dishes.

Prawns are a nutritional powerhouse, packed with lean protein, essential vitamins like B12 and niacin, and minerals such as selenium and zinc. Their low-calorie content makes them an excellent choice for health-conscious individuals.

In the kitchen, they are a chef's dream. They can be grilled, fried, boiled, or sautéed with an array of spices, herbs, and sauces to create an array of dishes. From classic prawn cocktails to spicy shrimp scampi, and exotic Thai curries to paella, prawns bring a burst of flavour and texture to any cuisine.
