Ice Cream Day
15th July 2022
In 1984, Senator Walter Dee Huddleston of Kentucky proclaimed the month of July as National Ice Cream Month and the 15th of July 1984 to be the National Day. President Ronald Reagan originally signed the bill to apply to that particular year only, but the tradition went on for the years to follow and even though it is not particularly celebrated in the Maltese Islands, we will gladly take up the opportunity to celebrate this sweet treat.
